From the cycle Director’s cut today a post on my personal blog about the analysis of statistical data of players' movies. This is an extended version of the post that appeared on the Movie Business website, containing statistics about the players' films from the 2020 Edition. Extended, because it also contains information about the players themselves, specifically about the countries and cities they come from. According to tradition, just before the release of the next large edition of the game, I prepared a detailed text on the news and changes introduced in it. For the first time, the text was published in two versions:

Biznes Filmowy Gameplay Trailer

I have heard the regret of some users about the fact that the Movie Business does not have a trailer showing the gameplay. Until now was available only “Cinematic” trailer With the premiere of the 2020 Edition soon, I decided to prepare a new trailer, this time presenting elements of the gameplay.

In the next version... Scouting

Today, about one more idea before witcher inspiration. When starting the game, the player does not have enough cash resources to afford all the creators. Therefore, it often has to rely on young creators, fictional characters generated by the game. I have received voices from you that sometimes there are too few such characters. So I decided to introduce an additional option of hiring scouts looking for new talent.

Director’s cut: Inspirations 2020

I have two messages for you. Good one and ... good one but a bit in the long run. As you may remember, I recently had health problems. Do not worry looks that everything is back to normal and my mood is very good. According to the principle of "always look on the bright side of life" even during this period, you can sometimes see the positives. And in this case it is about more free time that I have recently available. Thanks to this, in addition to returning to work on the Movie Business, I could, for example, catch up on games and learn about one of the most iconic games of recent years which is… The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

In the next version... Creating profiles

Player profiles are one of the important elements of the game that allows not only to store player progress, trophies or his statistics, but also allows the use of the MovieStats website, where, among others, you can add your own suggestions of creators who would like to be in the game. Due to the development and expansion of the game's functionality, it is necessary to re-creation of the profile from time to time. Until now, it was a bit embarrassing if we already had our data in MovieStats. Now this process will be slightly easier thanks to the possibility of creating a new profile in the game, based on the existing profile in MovieStats.

In the next version… Addiction

During the game you probably happened to encounter various random events. Among them were, for example, those related to drugs. Until now, these were only mentions that resulted in at most extension of production time or possibly the need to pay a deposit. As stimulants are quite an important topic of the world of celebrities, I decided to slightly expand this aspect in the game ... and so in the next edition of the game addictions will appear.

In the next version... Cult scripts on the open market

Cult scripts are screenplays in Movie Business based on real films and data about them from IMDB website. They were introduced to add some flavore and immersion. It was not intended to be available for purchase for players. One player suggested the idea that you could buy an iconic scenario. Although I'm not sure if this is a good idea, this possibility will appear in the next version of the game.

In the next version... Press conferences and interviews

Some players pointed out to me that the game does not use the media aspect of Movie Business. Specifically, it was about contacting the press. In the new version, I will try to address this problem in the form of the possibility of organizing a press conference and interviews.
