Mobie Business 2 was created for the Windows operating system. A dedicated version for Linux is not planned. However, this does not mean that users of this system cannot play Movie Business 2 on this system.

Co będzie potrzebne
Osobiście udało mi się zainstalować oraz uruchomić grę na Ubuntu w wersji 22.10. Aby to zrobić potrzebujecie:
- Ubuntu (na tej dystrybucji testowałem, choć zapewne na innych również powinno działać)
- Wine 8 lub wyższe
- Winetricks (najnowsze)
- dotnet48
- vbrun6
- Wine Gecko
Forgive me for not giving you detailed instructions on how to install individual components, but I am not a Linux user, and I will not be able to answer your questions in case of problems.
Natomiast jako zaawansowani użytkownicy komputerów (w końcu tacy tylko użytkują Linuksa) na pewno sobie poradzicie 😉

aczkolwiek możecie napotkać mniej lub bardziej uciążliwe problemy
Znane problemy
- po uruchomieniu, w przeciwieństwie do wersji Windowsowej, powita was dodatkowy komunikat (Welcome to Movie Business 2), który należy kliknąć aby przejść do wyboru języka. Uwaga otrzymałem sygnały że czasami okno to może być przezroczyste w więc kliknijcie gdzieś na środku 😉
- niektóre znaki mogą źle się wyświetlać (może być wymagana instalacja dodatkowych czcionek: Arial, Tahoma)
- Unicode characters don't display correctly
- Some operations take a long time, which causes a message to appear that the program is not responding… trzeba wybrać opcja “czekaj” (wait)
- the data export operation is very long (you have to wait a long time or press the “wait” as in the image above)
- If you have any stability problems, please contact me (you can report such problems to me – but it does not guarantee that they will be solved:)
- If you hear a sound when you try to click on the application window and the application does not respond, try moving the application window (there may be an error message or information underneath) and it has been covered by the main application window

Party Mode Starting and Player Options
You start a new game in the party game in the Players tab, you can modify the number, type, and properties of the players. To modify a given player, all you need to do is Double-click with the left mouse button.
Unfortunately on Linux, it doesn't work the first time. You need to double-click Right-click to open the player edit window. NOTE: next time, the LEFT KEY is already WORKING.
Disappearing main menu
During the game, you may lose the main menu of the game (be obscured by the window bar)
It is enough to move the mouse cursor over this area to reveal it
Jak odinstalować Biznes Filmowy
Przed instalacją nowej wersji gry trzeba odinstalować aktualną. Aby to zrobić trzeba przejść do folderu gdzie jest ona zainstalowana (domyślnie jest to)
/home/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/Tomiga/Biznes Filmowy 2
a następnie uruchomić plik
Uninstall-BiznesFilmowy2MovieBusiness2.exe
Dodatkowo ręcznie usunąć pliki skrótów z pulpitu.
Czy gra zadziała na Macu
Skoro działa na Wine to w teorii powinna się dać uruchomić na Macu korzystając z tego programu. Niestety nikt tego jeszcze nie sprawdził… może Ty będziesz pierwszy 🙂
P.S. Alternatywnie możesz skorzystać z wirtualnej maszyny takiej jak np UTM.
