New poll on the remake of the first game

Starting from today a new poll is ready for voting, but before you will know more details a few words of comment to the results of the poll dedicated to difficulty Movie Business.

The question was:

How would you rate the difficulty of MB2?

There were 67 of votes and the results were as follows.

  • far too difficult (13%, 9 votes)
  • a bit too difficult (34%, 23 votes)
  • actually ok (39%, 26 votes)
  • a bit too easy (7%, 5 votes)
  • far too easy (7%, 4 votes)

It occured, that in general the difficulty level of Movie Business 2 is correct, although some argue, that a bit too difficult. Perhaps this is due to the fact, that I didn't include in the question of what game mode I'm talking about. Many new players for trying career mode as the first game. It is not a good idea, because assumptions was that it would be the most difficult mode. Hence, such player has perhaps erroneous feeling that the game is too difficult. I wonder even if I shouldn't lock this mode and unlock it only after reaching a certain experience of the player (for example,. completion of the first 10 challenges).

What do you think about this idea?

And now a new question

Whether it makes sense to do a remake of the first part of the Movie Business?

Before you vote a few words of explanation. What would consist 'remake' of the first part. Remake, means refreshed versions of a artwork, by assumption tries not to change the basis on which the original was based. Hence, the main assumptions of the games were to the same. We can create movies where the cast has only two actors and director. Thus it would not be whole complexity of the second part in the form of scenario, genres, other types of artists, censorship, target groups etc..

What could be improved. First of all, the user interface, which was closer to today's standards. In addition, improvements could be made in certain parts of the game, that have worked in the second parts of game, such as, advertisement (campaigns), opportunity to build your own studio, player's profiles or trophies.

Final note, as warning it is only the poll and not means, that a remake will be created for sure. For now, I just wanted to explore the climate among the players whether you would thinkg that such idea makes sense.
