Contracts

The player with theAssistant can sign a contract with any currently available creator (this is an important note). The contract can be signed for a certain number of films (from 1 to 5), which will have to be shot within a certain time frame (from 1 year to 10 years).

Whether the creator will want to sign a contract with a given player (and for what period of time he will want to conclude such a contract) depends on:

So it may happen that a given creator will not want to sign a contract with us, sign only for 1 film or even for 5.

To sign the player will have to spend the entire value of the contract immediately (it is a multiple of the current fee with additional percentages-sum so will be significant). However, from this point on, during the term of the contract, the developer will always be available to the player. The Player shall have no additional cost if you fill the creator with which it has a contract (in the production of its price will be then 0). Hence, as the popularity of the developers is growing (and with it, its price), the player will not be felt (contract has already paid for, and the creator will be available to the player for free). So this is a great investment in young, promising artists.

The contract does not endorse a specific film (such as the sequel of our hit) but we have a general contract with the developer, which requires it to our, any film (an additional advantage for the manufacturer is, the fact that the creator in the course of the contract cannot linger on his proposed role, in the absence of contract sometimes may reject the proposed him).

Termination of contract can occur for the following reasons:

  • the creator has played in the specified by the contract number of the player's production
  • contract expiration date has passed
  • the creator has died or retired

Remarks and comments

To sign a contract, a creator must be available. This is to prevent a situation when a player who does not have a contract with a given creator, after the unexpected success of his film, decides to shoot its continuation. However, it turns out that this particular creator is unavailable. In such a situation, the player will not be able to go to the contract signing window and simply sign the contract. He must do it earlier.

The longer the contract we sign, the more affordable it is (per film). Interestingly, the creators slightly increase their price when they know that the player has a scenario for the continuation of the film in which they themselves played ;). Therefore, it is most profitable to sign a contract before starting work on the script (of course, this is associated with the risk that when our series is not as successful as we assumed – but that's the whole charm of the game).

As, that I have a contract signed with Takashi Mike is its price when you choose the term of the contract is equal to 0 (the creator of this is also specifically highlighted in the list of developers).

The most cost effective is signing contracts with relatively little popular creators. Then not only the price of long-term contracts are the smallest but also most we gain when the popularity of the developers is growing.

In 2018 the computer players do not use the option of signing contracts.

Contracts do not apply in the case of a function Executive producer. The player will not be able to use the developers under contract, when fully on this feature.

Possession of contract has one more, an additional advantage. Well, during the production of the film could happen such situations, we will have the option to release a creator because of its weak performance (see. Event in the course of production and the decisions of the manufacturer). This option will be available only if we have someone who can replace the scabbard in a specific role. I.e. If we wanted to release the Director then we need to have a contract signed with a different Director.
