Some players once asked me why there is no music in the game. The answer was pretty obvious as an indie game without a budget it was difficult to get enough music to use in the game. In addition, there would have to be a lot of it so that it would not get bored with players quickly during several hour-long sessions with the game. Another problem would be the variety of players' tastes. So in the end it was better to give it up completely.
Today, however, the possibilities are much greater.
The widespread access to the internet and streaming services made me wonder about the idea of creating a playlist on Spotify, which would be the "official soundtrack" of the game, which could be fired during a session with the Film Business.
So today I have a new poll for you where I ask you what you think about this idea.
Should the game have its own playlist with music on Spotify?
- I don't think it's needed (42%, 18 Votes)
- Yes, it would raise the atmosphere of the game (35%, 15 Votes)
- I don't care I don't have Spotify anyway (12%, 5 Votes)
- Yes but not on Spotify (12%, 5 Votes)
Voters: 43
Results of the previous poll
In what language should new video materials about the game be recorded?
- English (46%, 30 Votes)
- English with Polish subtitles (32%, 21 Votes)
- Polish with English subtitles (22%, 14 Votes)
Voters: 65
So as you can see most do not mind the English language in the video materials about the game. Especially since the percentage of players Polish and other countries is distributed roughly equally. And in this language, the last materials are created. After all, as the game has a Polish in the future may appear video in this language (but such a topic will also have the equivalent in English).
