In the next version. Production with investor

Another problem, which is trying to resolve in the nearest version is a quick bankruptcy player at the beginning of the game. It is often the case that after two failed productions at the very beginning of the game, the player does not have the ability to rebound from the bottom, which can be frustrating, especially for those who are just starting their adventure with the Movie Business. One solution to this problem is to introduce deals executive producer about which I wrote before. Today at the second option "production with an investor".

Currently in the Film Business player in trouble financially, in desperation, you can use the help of the mafia. However, this is a last resort, not necessarily allow you to get out of the problems (and may cause feed in another ... in the end mafia sooner or later upomni for her). The new version will allow for more civilized approach to the problem, namely the ability to seek an external investor, which will allow for the partial financing of the production. Here's how this will work.

The prerequisites

When a player becomes niewesołą (the State of cash falls below a certain level, the absence of prospects for improvement). The player will be able to take advantage of the production with the investor. (About this possibility will be informed by the Assistant).

What the production will want to co-finance the investor?

Investors are not charities and care above all about their money, therefore, to the investor agreed to co-finance the movie player, its design must satisfy certain conditions.

First of all, it should be up to him to report with their own scenario. Secondly, this scenario must be of adequate quality (level A or B) in another case, the investor will estimate that the chances of return on investment are too small. Well, the last scenario should be only one of the core genres: Comedy, romance, horror, family, action. These are the species that do not require too large budgets, while at the same time allowing for easy profit.

Videos of the investor always have a target commercial to maximize profits.

What gives the investor?

The investor is able to make to the production budget a certain amount of cash (exact, which the player is missing in the budget, which had at the beginning of the game on a given level).

The consequences

Profits from the production are shared according to the shares.

Przykład: Załóżmy, że gracz na poziomie amator posiada 2 mln na koncie. Normalnie na tym poziomie gracz na początku rozgrywki dysponuje kwotą 5 mln. Na produkcję swojego filmu z inwestorem otrzymał od niego dodatkowe 3 mln (2 + 3 = 5). Mamy więc podział 40/60 na rzecz inwestora. Każdego miesiąca z całego zysku wygenerowanego przez film 40% będzie przechodziło do producenta a 60% do inwestora. Zauważcie, że w przeciwieństwie do producenta wykonawczego gracz od razu otrzymuje swoją dolę (a nie po osiągnięciu 100% ze zwrotu).

Uwaga: jeżeli gracz zdecyduje się na reklamę swojego filmu, musi ją w całości pokryć ze swojego budżetu (nie otrzyma wsparcia inwestora w tym elemencie). Inwestor daje jedynie kwotę niezbędną do rozpoczęcia produkcji, wszelkie późniejsze koszty musi ponieść gracz.

Jak widać funkcjonalność ta ma z jednej strony pozwolić na kontynuowanie gry mimo początkowego niepowodzenia i strat gracza. Z drugiej stara się mu pokazać jak właściwie podchodzić do produkcji filmów. Uczy tworzyć własny scenariusz na odpowiednim poziomie, a dzięki ograniczeniu liczby wyborów, ukierunkowuje na myślenie o zyskach z produkcji (ograniczenie targetu produkcji do komercyjnego oraz gatunku filmu do kilku podstawowych, niewymagających zbyt dużych środków na ich produkcję).

The same concept is the General investor and in theory could be used also in the later stages of the game (when a player has for example, 10 million, and wants to make a movie for $20) but I don't want to make it as an additional option to easily raise funds, only to force the player to make money. Therefore, it will be limited to the initial phase of the game and will make up the budget of the player to start the level of cash.

It seems to me that this is the end of the appropriate solution to the problem of placing the player in the finer points of the game and deal with the initial setbacks.
