Reactions

The second part of the Movie Business offers the possibility to export films produced by players to the site with statistics online MovieStats. Thanks to this, your best productions can go to the global BoxOffice where you can watch and compare achievements with other fans of the game. Unfortunately, due to the non-commercial nature of the Film Business, and thus the limitations in the amount of space available on hosting, it is not possible to send all the films produced by you. Sometimes, however, there are situations when you would like to share with other players (or the author of the game) a film that was not the best but stood out with something from other productions.

And this is what the new mechanism in the game called reactions is supposed to serve. Well, the player will have the opportunity to specially mark the film produced by himself. A movie marked in this way will always be exported to MovieStats (regardless of whether it was good enough to catch the default export).

The player will be able to mark the video with one of the following reactions:

  • Cool – look what cool movie I made
  • Something wrong – something with this film is clearly wrong
  • Funny – some funny compilation of artists or title, genre and creators
  • Wired – When produced film is... wired
  • Something wrong with the review – that is, a review of this film is for some reason wrong/illogical
  • Brilliant review – impossible that it was generated by computer
  • WOW – I just "dropped my jaw" when I saw it

And here is how reactions looks in practice

I hope that thanks to this feature you will be able to show off your non-standard, funny or strange productions. On the other hand, it will be easier to find examples of films or reviews where something has not worked and possibly draw conclusions from them that will help improve algorithms.

In MovieStats, on the other hand, such films will be specially marked, thanks to which it will be easier to find them among standard productions.

This entry is bound to another forum topic, and it concerns other proposals for a response that have not been taken into account by me, and in your opinion could be useful. This is the last moment to report them.
